In Loving Memory of Mary Ruth Williams 1952 - 2018
Mary Ruth Williams, 65, passed away peacefully on August 21, 2018 at home, after a year-long battle with cancer. Mary was born October 6, 1952, in Akron, Ohio. She was the loving daughter to two very special parents, the late Ralph and Martha Cuppett.
Mary thoroughly loved everyone she met and everyone that met her felt the same. Her family and friends meant the world to her. From the start of her life until the end, she touched so many lives. Mary graduated from Springfield High school in 1971. Singing was her passion. She was in a band, Storm, and loved to entertain and sing for people. Her voice was beautiful as was she. Mary also loved to bake. She was truly an amazing baker. When Christmas came around, her favorite holiday, the smell from the kitchen was wonderful. Walking into Mary’s house around Christmas time was like a winter wonderland and always made everyone happy.
Mary will be missed by so many. She was a woman of true grace and dignity. Mary will be watching down on us from the heavens with her precious cats Boots and Bella. Her beautiful smile and loving heart will live on with all of us forever.
Mary is survived by her husband Dana Williams, daughters Jennifer (Eric) Cowden, Alexis Farrell (Fiancé Mike Slusser), four sisters who were loved dearly, grandchildren Camryn, Cooper and Spencer as well as many more family and friends.
Donations can be made to Stewart’s Caring Place Cancer Wellness Center 2955 W. Market St, Suite R, Akron, Ohio 44333.
